Vikram Kumar is an Indian Classical Bansuri teacher and the founder of Bansi Bajao, an online platform dedicated to making quality flute education accessible to students across India and around the world.
His teaching follows the traditional Guru–Shishya Parampara, emphasizing disciplined Riyaz, breath control, tone development, musical understanding and long-term growth as a musician.
Vikram trained in Bansuri under Deepak Bhanuse, a disciple of Pt. Keshav Ginde (Pune). He also completed three years of violin training under Dr. Rashmi Somen . and Akshay Somen, which helped deepen his understanding of melody, expression and musical phrasing.
Through Bansi Bajao, students learn everything from Sargam, Alankars and breath management to ornamentation techniques, Raagas, improvisation and Bollywood flute songs. Lessons are designed for absolute beginners as well as serious learners pursuing advanced musical development.
His mission is simple: to help students build a lifelong relationship with music through structured learning, guided practice and consistent mentorship.
